OK, I imagine that question is at least a little piquing, so here goes.
In my young life I used to play baseball, I was pretty decent and it kept my in really good shape. Nowadays I spend most of my time on the internet and on PC games. I weigh quite a bit more than I would wish I did and really want to find some sort way to end of my days of being a piece of shit. I’m looking for a way to spend my time. Basically I’m asking for a really good hobby, preferably something physical, to waste most of my time doing. I’m definitely interested in other hobbies you all are willing to give me. I do already read quite a bit, smoke the occasional cigar, all that jazz, (incidentally, I also play the saxophone in a concert and big band setting). So I ask you Yahoo Answers, how do I get myself off of the internet and into a better body, mind, social life, and everything, and find something better to do with my time?
Open Question: My boyfriend smokes weed all the time?
I have a problem I’d like some advise on. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months and he has always smoked weed. Just recently it seems to be every single day we’re together (or almost, my head may be exaggerating the situation but it’s a alot).
I don’t have a problem with him smoking weed, I just have a problem with him smoking it around me, in my house, when I’ve asked him not to (We don’t live together).
He says he doesn’t smoke it every day as he doesn’t like sharing it and he prefers smoking with me? Even though I don’t smoke it.
He never has any money, but he always has some to spend on weed. I will suggest going out and doing something, and he will say he can’t afford to so I end up paying or we don’t do anything. Then later that day he’ll ask to pick up which is 20 pounds a pop, or even ask to borrow money off me.
We’ve tried to compromise where I’ve said he can every other time he’s round here, and he’s agreed but when it comes to it he gets angry and refuses.
I’ve tried asking him to go outside if he has to do it, but he won’t.
The main argument he has against me is that I used to smoke it. Yes, I did, But I stopped because it started to give me anxiety attacks and I’d slump into a black pit and get really paranoid when I did it.
I also never smoked it on my own, only smoked once a week with my friends, neevr smoked aroudn people who didn’t want me to, and only could if I could afford it.
I asked him the otehr day what the two msot important things in his life were. The answers were me and weed. Is that not worrying?
The thing is I sometimes think weed comes before me, becasuse he’s happy to get into an argument with me about it and upset our relationship just to have a smoke. Also, he came over to mine the other day quite late and he got a text. He read it and threw his phone down shouting ‘dammit’ I asked what was wrong and he said that hsi friends had actually managed to pick up some weed and that he could be smoking after all. Why does it matter so much when he’s here with me? It also suggests he lied about how much he smokes it as he denies doing it with his friends all that often?
I want to reiterate that I do NOT care he smokes weed as I know that would be hypocritical. What I do care about it that he insists on smoking around me when he knows the reasons I don’t like it.
I am also work in health care so can’t go into work smelling of smoke, so when he does smoke it I have to leave the room of my own house while he does?
He thinks I’m being hypocritical, unreasonable and controlling but when I lay it all out like this I can’t see how I am.
What do people think?
