Resolved Question: Quit smoking; started running?
I quit smoking for good about a week ago. I was smoking 1-2 cigarettes per day, more if I was drinking on the weekends. I quit and started doing the couch to 5k running program. So far the runs feel good, but I run out of breath quick and my legs are on fire. I suppose this will all get better. I am eating healthier, taking vitamins, and drinking a ton of water. Anything else I could be doing? I realize I am in the “break in” point for my body after a few years of smoking and being out of shape. I assume this will get better with time.

I was a moderate smoker of Marijuana (off and on) for about a year or so. My husband and I recently found out I am pregnant (5 weeks along) and I have quit smoking- for good. I have an OB appointment August 18th and I’m worried that they will drug test me and there may be residual THC in my system. What will they do to me? Is it standard practice to run a drug screen on all prenatal patients in Texas? Will they tell me before they do it, or will the do it behind my back? I would at least like to know…

I just moved and got a job at a museum just to pay bills and get settled in a new state, after recently graduating. Well, someone I work with told his friend about me and my qualifications without me knowing, and suddenly I got an interview at a really great place. I quit smoking pot once I found out about getting the interview, but that was only a few days ago and they offered me the job the same day. I quit smoking for good because I respect safety and want to get on the right path in life, but am really worried I won’t pass the drug test in time. What’s the best way to pass, should I just use a synthetic ? Where could I comfortably hide it? I don’t tend to wear baggy clothes, as I’m a petite (5’3, 105 lbs) female! thanks
