Open Question: I am getting angry/jealous with my friend????? HELP! (sry its a little long)?
I have had a friend on and off for years now but suddenly I am always feeling jealous of her. It all started when I got my boyfriend and I were together for about a year and she added him on msn. They talked occasionally and my boyfriend and I talked (it’s long distance relationship). One day she told me that “he talked so well with her and they really ‘connected’”. It pissed me off. I asked my boyfriend about it and he said he knew nothing about it and I told him to delete her, so he did. She got really pissed off at me though. Is it understandable I did this? I felt like it. So he had her blocked and deleted but each time i started talking about her and all her new boyfriends he got super pissed off about how she cheated on them all the time. He was always commenting on how skinny she was.
I got so jealous of how skinny she was and how he was commenting on her weight so often that I pushed myself over the edge and lost so much weight I am now recovering from anorexia. He comments on how I need to gain weight now. Recently she got a new boyfriend though and the minute she got him she ditched me and every other friend she ever had to have sex with this boy every single night (she is only 16). Even when I stayed over she brought the guy back into the other room to have sex with him. So I told my boyfriend, Ola, that I wasn’t going there for a long while. I just hung around Ola for awhile (within this time span between him blocking her in teh first place and the new boyfriend he deleted and re-added her at least 3 times) and he kept her deleted and told me she was blocked. Well this guy eventually left my friend and I came back to her since she was no longer being so rude to me but now she was mutilating her arms. It made me mad she was doing it and jealous i wasn’t allowed to anymore because Ola told me I couldn’t.
Her dad who is a truck driver lets her live alone in his trailer and use it for whatever she wants, finally said he isn’t paying for it anymore and she has to be out by the end of the summer. Her mom has a house but she still says she is going to be “homeless” because she does not want to live with her parents. So now all she does is go down to Arkansas and drink and cut her self and buy herself thousands of dollars worth in clothes (while her younger sister gets nothing). It makes me angry with her because my family is poor enough i only get new clothes on my birthday.
Its been my birthday present for awhile now. I get a choice between seeing a doctor or getting new clothes and she gets whatever she wants. Well recently i started watching America’s Next Top Model, next thing i know my friend is in the running to become Miss. Missouri. It makes me jealous, because I am way too short of those sorts of things and she throws it in my face. She even started taking out the papers in front of me and showing me the ribbons she gets just for being in the pageant thing. I don’t know how she is going to make it though with her drinking problem, habit of smoking a carton of cigarettes a day, and the cuts on her wrist. Do i have rights to be mad or angry with her or am I just being silly? What can i do to stop being so angry?

My parents have been friends with another set of parents for over 20 years. They have two daughters around my age that I’ve ALWAYS been close with. I’m sixteen, and there one daughter (we’ll call her Stacey) is 17. The other daughter (we’ll call her Kelly) is 15.
I moved over 4,000 kilometres from the family when I was 8. Every summer, we’d go back to our old home and spend 2 months there. Over the summer, I would spend a couple weeks at their house, and they’d spend a couple weeks at our home.
Anyways, a few summers ago, I stopped hanging out with Stacey because she got into drugs, smoking cigarettes, having sex, and drinking. She was 15 at the time, and I was 13 (almost 14). She had always been funny, and same with me. I could make her laugh, and she could always make me laugh. But that summer I couldn’t even look at her.
She realized how poorly of a friend she was being after summer. We made up in October of that year, but then she got a boyfriend in November. Her boyfriend was very controlling. He made her get rid of her facebook, MSN, and text no one but him. After realizing what an idiot he was, she tried breaking up with him…two times. Both times she took him back because he threatened to kill himself, and almost did when they were on the phone together.
I basically gave up on her in the summer of 2009. But, the Kelly had been there through it all. I had always been closer to Stacey, but after the drug thing, Kelly and I became closer than ever.
Just recently, Kelly changed too. She went from being a medium sized build to a stick thin body. Her hair was a lovely blonde, but now it’s blonde with blue. She used to wear her glasses all the time, and hated taking them off. Now, she only wears contacts.
She is bisexual, because everyone else in her school is, and she wants to fit in. She drinks and parties a lot (only grade 9) and she never texts me, calls, or goes on MSN to chat. She once told me about how she wanted to experiment with drugs, etc. I didn’t think she actually would, but she’s already tried acid.
I just don’t know what to do anymore. My boyfriend is there for me, but he’s never gone through anything like this. I doubt anyone else has either, though. This summer is going to be VERY different, because I don’t know if I want to get involved with the things Kelly has. What do you think I should do? Tell her how I feel?…She might not understand and get mad…Maybe I should move on, but then again I can’t. Our parents still hang out a lot, so I can’t just ignore her. HELP.

Let me give you a little backround. About 12 years ago I was about to dump my girlfriend at the time and of course she wound up knocked up. We now have an 11 year old boy an 8 year ol girl.
I love my wife as the mother of my kids, but I do not really like her nor do I like being around her. I have never cheated her.
I am 40 an about 3 years ago I begAn to smoke marijuAna. I had not smoked it in over 15 years.
It was like miracle. I was more loving with my bitchy wife and I enjoyed everything in life more.
It has been 3 years and my wife and kids have no idea. I feel like I am at a cross roads. Of course I would never let my kids witness me smoking, but I am tired of living a double life with my wife. Plus I am a grown friggin man with a great job and excellent job performance. If I want to smoke some weed now and again I feel I should be able to.
Stopping smoking is not an option for me. Here are the different courses of action
1). Tell my straight edge, judgemental Christian wife the truth and hope that she will accept it
2). Keep my mouth shut and smoking in stealth mode and finsh up my 10 year sentence when
my daughter turns 18
3) leave now get my own place and have shared custody of the Kids who I love more than anything in the world.
If I follow step 1 and my wife rejects it and kicks me out, She would us the truth to keep me from having any custody.
I am telling you I am a fully functional pot head and I am extremely close with my kids anyone have any serious advice.
