Resolved Question: I need a strong combination of over the counter sleep aids…?
I have the worse insomnia ever. I used to take like 6 benadryl a night. It worked and for awhile I stopped. Mostly because I smoked alot of weed for awhile. Anyway, I don’t smoke anymore and I was prescribed Seroquel 400mg. If you ever been on it you know it practically puts you in a mild coma. LOL! My prescription ran out and I can’t afford more right now. I took 4 benadryl’s and it’s now 6am and I am still wide awake.
I need sleep. I am thinking of a combination of DIPHENHYDRAMINE, Melatonin and valarian root. How does that sound? If not does anyone know a quicker way to fall asleep? I am addicted to my sleeping pills I know but right now I can not sleep and I need to sleep. Any help?

i want to try to quit smoking again, i will admit i have very little will power and i have never made it more than a day, maybe two days tops… this will be my 10th year as a smoker (holy cow!) and i am at about a pack a day.
the number one thing is, i don’t know what to look forward to when i get spare time? like for instance on my break at work. it’s only 15 minutes, what the heck do you do? what do non smokers do when there is nothing to do.. just sit there? what do you look forward to doing throughout the day? i’m afraid i will replace the nicotine craving with food and blow up like a balloon.. lol
also, does the craving really ever go away? i have talked to people who quit for years and years and they said they still get the urge when they see someone smoking and when they smell it.
if it went away for you, how long did it take?
has anyone ever tried chantix or had success with any other type of aid?
i have tried the patch and all that did for me was make my arm swell up and gave me a rash, it did absolutely nothing for the craving. i tried the gum for about a whole day and it burns my gums. i know of only one person (my aunt) who has had success taking chantix, everyone else stopped taking it because it made them seriously nauseated and they couldn’t take the crazy dreams.
any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Resolved Question: How can I stop my ex’s visitation and child support and let my husband adopt my children?
I recently remarried and my husband wants to adopt my children. My ex does pay child support, but only half of what he owes each month. He is behind over $5,000. He is a felon, has no car or drivers license. He does work, but at minimum wage and he smokes, drinks, and plays video games at work (with his boss’s permission). He is on drugs, although I do not think he does them when the girls are at his house. He throws parties with underage teenagers and drinks with our girls at his house. And his house is gross and filthy. He has 2 other guys living with him that I do not trust (one of them once took my 6 year old to pet a pit bull that they didn’t know). I let him see the girls because he does love them, but I am scared when they are there. His visitation involves ME driving them the hour trip to his house and dropping them off, coming back the next day to pick them up. I fear for their safety.
My husband loves my children dearly. My youngest calls him Daddy-he has been there for her since she was 8 months old. He has changed her diapers, kissed their boo-boos, rocked them to sleep, paid for their activities, WENT to their activities, gone on vacations with them. He is self employed, I am a Registered Nurse. We make plenty of money together and are a happy family. We do not need aid from their father and want him out of their life. He can’t even provide his own transportation to see them, and the only reason I take them there is because I am afraid of who would be driving the vehicle to pick them up. Can I take his rights away and allow my husband to adopt them? To me there is a difference between a “father” and a “daddy,” and my husband is their “daddy.”
I don’t care what he does in his spare time. I care about what he does with my children. Shame on me? Shame on you for thinking it is ok to have 20 underage people partying, drinking, and smoking in your 500sq foot house while your 6 year old and 15 month old children are on the couch watching TV. We are in the process of documenting this with a P.I. I can not bear the though of something happening to me knowing that this is the place my children will end up if I died. Supervised visits are an option, but what happens if I conveniently end up floating in the river? What happens if my children are raped, abused, or hurt? How is this selfish?
