Open Question: Can I still apply for British citizenship even though I’ve been unemployed for more than a year and on JSA?
I was and still am suffering from anxiety and depression and my GP prescribed me a sleeping medication called “zolpidem tartrate” which is known to cause unwanted side effects like hallucinations, delusions, etc. and I called the police for help because I woke up in the middle of my sleep having had a nightmare or hallucinating that someone harmed me. I have been convicted of “Waste of Police Time” in June 2008 and was fined £1,000 because I was not properly represented at court by lawyers because every time there was a hearing or trial, my lawyer/s were being replaced by new lawyers. I didn’t have any witnesses to support me and the Magistrates Court didn’t allow the manufacter of the drug, Sanofi-Aventis, to give testimonies about the effects and side effects of zolpidem. Some people here judged me too quickly and said I should be deported for not knowing these facts. The Judicial System in the UK is very confusing as Magistrates and lawyers change depending on their availability.
I used to work as a Registered Nurse from private nursing/residential homes to NHS hospitals since April 2000 and I can say that I have been a fantastic nurse until I got fired from work because of this police record. I don’t think I have been scrounging or sponging off the government or working class people because I have paid very high taxes or gave very high contributions to the National Insurance. For all the things that I have been going through, I think it is my right to claim benefits, my case re-opened and be properly represented by competent lawyers to be exonerated from my conviction that’s keeping me from finding any kind of job because these jobs require CRB checks. I even tried non-nursing related jobs, but I am being unfortunate. For Pete’s sakes, I don’t even drink/smoke/swear or hang out with people I know who would be bad influence to me. I never had a life when I was working because my routine was work-home-church. My post-traumatic stress disorder and depression wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t been almost murdered and physically-assaulted and sustained facial fractures such as nose, orbital and cheekbone back in 2001 and the real criminal got away from what he did to me because he said “God is an Englishman” and he’s English and I’m only a foreigner according to him. I wasn’t even invited or asked to testify in Court.

Greetings! Please don’t be rude because this is a very serious question can anyone help me know what’s happening to me; I’m 17 years old right now when I was 15 I used to Smoke Marijuana (atleast 5 joints a week) and Cigarettes (atleast 10 sticks a day) but now that I quit those vices I suddenly felt loneliness and It’s so hard for me to cherish any moment especially when I’m around people I feel like I’m still high and do silly things without thinking and many more attitudes that suddenly came up after I quit smoking. I tried to research the side-effects but I can’t find the answers and when I’m always thinking what is my problem one of the answer that comes into my mind is maybe I’m just in the maturity stage. My older and experienced friends who I consulted about my problems told me to wait for around 6 months and I’m gonna be better again but its already 9 months now since I quit and I can say that my blood is detoxified and clean with all those narcotics but the problems won’t get out of my system. I’m afraid to seek for a professional help for I would be embarrassed if my family would find out but I’m trying to get a break to consult my not-so-close cousin who is an undergrad Psychologist.
Note: I don’t drink liquors or such and I eat healthy foods and I exercise a lot and I can say that I’m in a great shape. I’m trying these things because maybe it can help me to get the drugs out of my system. Please help me and give me answers.

I have just given up smoking with champix and am now at the 2 week mark.
Although, I have had no side-effects from the champix itself, I have not noticed any difference in my well being. If anything, since stopping the fags I have felt worse, I have had a constant sore throat, I feel tired and more out of breath than I ever did whilst smoking. Does anyone know how long this lasts for and when I actually start to feel better?
I wonder if chlorine in drinking water can lead to more ear/nose/throat infections by killing the good bacteria?

You think abortion is wrong? Don’t have one. I think killing people is wrong, so I’m not in the army. My tax dollars still go to fund it, though (in fact about 21 cents of each of my tax dollars). My tax dollars also go to keep prisoners on death row even though I think the death penalty is morally wrong. My tax dollars fund Guantanamo and Bagram, extraordinary rendition, and Jim DeMint’s salary, all of which I find disgusting. So why is abortion, a legal medical procedure, so remarkably different that we have to go overboard making sure tax dollars don’t fund it?
