Resolved Question: Lots of curiosities, need some advice on things?
Ok so im 14 year old male, I live in sydney. Now, ive got a 22 year old brother, 21 year old sister, and another 18 year old brother. so ive grown up around smoking, drinking, all of that. ive been to my brothers 21st and saw alot of relatives get drunk, so i have a fairly good idea what drinking does, and what smoking does (both my parents were smokers, my dad quit, and my sister has started).
Since im 14 obviously theres lots of things that are tempting to try out. ive had vodka and other alchohols before, i still hate beer (probably have to be a bit older to like beer). Well anyway i was talking to mum about drugs.. and smoking and stuff. she asked if any of my friends have done anything like that, and i said we act like idiots but we haven’t tried anything serious yet. and she said that she wont stop me from smoking cigarettes or pot, its my choice, but i have to warn her before i do it so she knows. i was really surprised by this, because i expected her to go ranting on that ill never smoke or take drugs, and here she was saying i could do it if i wanted– but she said she seriously did not want me to get addicted to cigarettes.
one of my friends has smoked 1 or 2 cigarettes, and he said they were shit and he never would do it again. i must be more self- controllable because ive grown up with both parents as smokers and even my sister a smoker, usually 3 packs of cigarettes and a lighter sitting outside all the time, but ive never ever picked one up and tried it. since my mum openly said it was my choice what i did, as long as she knew what i was doing, and my friend has tried it, ive all of a suddon really wanted to try smoking a cigarette. also another thing that surprised me was i asked my mum what she thinks about tattoos (my older brother got a tattoo of a tiger on his shoulder and dad went nuts) and she said again, its up to me, she personally really loves tattoos but she admitted dad would be very angry. and even more angry because i was considering getting a tattoo at 16.
so yeah, what do all you people think about all this?
Open Question: Tiny black dot on my gum?
Its tiny, the size of a ball point pen mark. I have silver colored fillings in and around that tooth done 12 years ago. Im 29 years old. I know I have a cavity cause it slightly aches every now and then and because i don’t floss often it bleeds slightly when i do floss like you would normally expect from a non flosser.
Please be blunt and tell me whether or not its possible to be a sign of cancer.
I DO not smoke cigarettes and never have, i quit marry jane.
Could you please let me know at hte very most and very least what it could be.
I’m going to schedule a dentist appointment tomorrow.
I cleaned and flossed perfusely today, but i did not over do it to remove enamal.

I sort of wanna understand the recruiting process a little bit better, ive been contemplating when i should go, because.. deep in my heart, this is what i want to do forever possibly
so basically, the first time i go in.. what can i expect to do, what was everyones first time in the building like?
i have unfortunatly smoked pot in my life, and.. im cleaning it out of my body right now, since i quit. itll be roughly 2 months, before i can be taking any urine tests.
so with that in mind.. if i was interested in a job, which is infact in demand right now, how long would the process take . would i possibly be able to, apply get whatever paperwork i need, and book for a later date if they request i go soon?
