Resolved Question: Please advice on my High Blood Pressure?
I am 25 yrs old and have slight high pressure of 137/97. I weight 226 Pounds (102.5 kg). Heavy Smoker (Have 30+ cigarettes a day). Work overnight as I am a Software Professional.
No Exercise at all. Drink occasionally.
Recently I suffered from a very bad Shoulder pain which went till by head.
I intake a lot of Rice, soft drinks, sweets, sugar and I guess I also have high cholesterol.
I know it sounds pretty odd but I want to change this as I have a family and a small kid.
I wish to help myself. Can you guys please advice me on the food I should start taking, exercise.
I also want to quit smoking but Its quite tuff. I tried a lot. Tried Fading effect too for 4 months.

Resolved Question: Neighbor called CPS over ‘sex parties’?!?
Preemptive apology for the length. My husband and I are only 23, have good jobs, bought a small home with property in a nice rural area. I have an 8 yr old daughter due to violence. *do the math* Our problem? My neighbor thinks it’s her business to call the police when we have guests. We don’t have loud parties, rarely drink, don’t smoke or do drugs. My husband owns a car mod shop, we’re both welders, and also do IT work for a large software company, so we often have company, sometimes overnight if they are from our hometown several hours away. Our property is large enough, with woods in between that she is totally undisturbed by traffic, parking, noise, etc. She has told the police and our neighbors that we are making porn in our home, with children present. After a shocking visit from CPS, I stomped over there and demanded an explaination and apology. Her reasoning? We could not possibly have all that money *um, what? we live debt-free and work hard, with no hand-outs or relatives* at our age, let alone an 8 yr old and all the friends if we weren’t being paid to ‘swing’ or ‘use’ our child and visitors’ children. I almost got sick. I explained to her that some people’s families aren’t sexual predators or hermits and actually like spending time with each-other. She got a restraining order. We are still being watched by CPS, so my daughter’s principal has informed me. Co-workers and friends have been asked all kinds of things.The police have been here more than once. Our friends don’t want to come around anymore for fear of being suspected or having thier children taken away. I tried to explain to the police and CPS that she is a nutcase, and we often have friend’s children overnight because it’s called a ‘sleepover’. Little girls have them! I was told to ‘quit trying to cover my tracks’. I have come home several times to find a trooper in my driveway. Our home has been searched. Computers taken. My daughter is terrified because she has overheard them talking about taking her, and has been to a doctor for a thorough examination and questioning very humiliating. What do I do?
The only reason they searched my computer is they said they would have an investigator come in and take everything while we were gone. I said, ‘have it’. Oh, didn’t mention that this is the same neighbor we helped out for five months while her hip was broken. What a nice way to repay us!

Resolved Question: Do we really have free will? Now don’t get excited as it i know this doesn’t sound like a R&S question but it?
is a follow up question to a previous question which was for R&S So now that we have that cleared up here is the rest of the question lol
If we did have free will wouldn’t we be able to change any our choice at any time about anything? I believe it depends on the circumstances. It seems first there must be a set of circumstances which arise, Then if that set of circumstances is important enough, that importance lets us be ready to make a choice. But if conditioning gets in the way of the importance of that set of circumstances You cannot be ready to make a choice For example if you smoke and would like to quit but find you cannot. What is happening? The circumstances which keep you smoking are more important right now to you than any other, Whether it is smoking is bad for your health and it bothers other people. Those circumstances are not important enough for you to be ready for a change of choice. And as long as a new set of circumstances arise you will not be able to be ready to make a choice to quit. That readiness is i think like a software program which automatically becomes available when a set of circumstances are important enough to you to take a look. without that readiness you cannot make a new choice and if you cannot make a new choice a person who wants to quit cannot quit no matter how much free will we think we have your thoughts thanks
