Resolved Question: Why wont the radio station just fire Kyle Sandilands already?!?! Everyone hates him!?
in case your not up to date with the a$$hole timeline of Kyle Sandilands, Australian radio host, here is some memorable stunts:

4 August 2006 – Sandilands used radio program to call Fiona Connolly, a columnist from Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, “fat” and a “liar”. She was six months pregnant at the time.

March 2007 – Sandilands made an on-air reference to a police officer who had issued him a speeding ticket, referring to the officer as an “arsehole” and to the Highway Patrol as “scum”.

2 July 2007 – Sandilands and Jackie O were involved in a on-air clash with Australian music personality Molly Meldrum, who described Sandilands as “arrogant”, “fat” and “talentless”. (WHICH HE IS)

20 August 2007 – Sandiland asserts that smoking was not as harmful to people as many institutions would lead people to believe and that the statistics presented by these institutions are falsified. These comments led to the Cancer Institute of New South Wales pulling their “13-QUIT” advertisements off the network.

22 August 2007 – Sandilands interviewed by Andrew Denton for ABC’s Enough Rope. During the interview Sandilands said he wanted to “punch Dave Hughes in the throat” next time he saw him. This was in response to Hughes’ reference to Sandilands as a “dickhead” on another program. (WHICH HE IS)

20 July 2009 – a Cambodian refugee from Pol Pot, renamed “Sally” on air by the station, entered a competition to have her niece, who she has never seen, brought out from the US.

The “twist”, told only to the 2 girls after they’re plane landed, was that “Sally” would have to pick which of three doors her niece was behind — otherwise the niece would be flown straight back home.

“Sally” picked wrong.

It took eight minutes of tears and begging on their knees from the two women before Sandilands and Jackie O finally agreed to back down and give the niece and aunt their promised week together.

29 July 2009 – Sandilands and co-host Jackie had a 14 year old girl strapped to a lie detector while the child’s mother, Sandilands and Jackie questioned her about sex and drugs. The girl was saying “I’m scared. It’s not fair”. The segment went astray when the girl revealed she had been raped at the age of 12. After a long pause, Sandilands then asked “Right … is that the only sexual experience you’ve had?”

He got suspended for the above stunt but NOW HE IS BACK ON AIR! Why? Do you agree he should be kicked off for good?

im in dallas texas and ive had an issue this past week with my job and getting fired over it ….ive kept pretty good notes and ive kinda sumarized them a litle bit below to give everyone an idea as to whats happened so maybe i can get some good advice from some of u that read these boards …..in the below notes i have excluded all names so if something doesn’t make sense then i can understand why bc i did change it from how it was previously typed to exclude names ….here is a lil history abt me and the company to begin …ive worked there for 4 yrs and have never had any issues with the company over that 4 yrs except for the pot smoking….its gone on the whole 4 yrs ive been at the company but i was never around it bc i wasn’t workign on the crew that did it…..back in January 2009 my crew was merged into the pot smoking crew bc of lack of work with the economy and we werent gettign 40 hrs a week.,…..it bothered me everyday i went to work and back on the 6/7/2009 i had had enough and went to the owners abt it via e-mail…..here is everythign that ahs happened in the past 2 weeks in timeline form …….

7/7/2009 sent e-mail to owner and owners son …..received response via e-mail that said a drug policy would b implemented….

later that day i called the owner to talk to her abt everything and was put on the phone with the owners son…was told to come to work the following day and there would b a drug plicy implemented.

i ran a crew on 7/8/2009 and 7/9/2009 and on (7/8/2009 i signed the drug policy when i got in from working all day) so none of it was an issue those 2 days bc i did not work with the pot smokers on those 2 days..

on Monday 7/12/2009 i worked with the pot smokers and they smoked there pot on the job in the work truck..when i got to the office and left the office for the day i called the owner and informed her that it continued and told her myself that it would not quit until there was actually drug testing done and she agreed. i was then put on the phone with the owners son and was told that drug testing would b done the next day. it was not done bc the party chief was out on 7/13/2009 was out of the office the next 2 days.

on Tuesday 7/13/2009 the party chief was out of work and i ran the crew with the i-man…the i-man didn’t smoke pot all day…..when we got to the office the owner and her son were not in the office to speak to to tell them nothing happened…

on Wednesday 7/14/2009 the party chief was out of work again and i ran the crew and it was just me and the i-man again and he did not smoke that day either….that afternnon when i got to the office i was asked by the owner what happened the last 2 days….i was uncomftorable with her asking bc the i-man was in the office and i didn’t want him to hear anything that was being said and was very short in my response and she kinda walked away from the conversation and then i called her about 10 mins after leaving the office for the day and told her that nothing had happened with it just being me and the i-man.

Thursday 7/15/2009 the party chief was back at work and i ran my own crew without the 2 pot smokers ….me and our drafter worked together……when we got in that afternoon nothing was said abt anything to me so i left the office and went home….

Friday 7/16/2009 i got to work and had to work with the pot smokers bc the drafter was on vacation ….they did not smoke all day bc on Thursday they got talked to by the owners son……i do not know what was said bc i wasn’t told anything….the party chief was rude all day to me and wouldn’t talk to me and and made jokes abt being a snitch and a rat bc he thought i had told…..when we got in that afternoon the owner was waiting for the 3 of us so she could talk to us ….she confronted the pot smokers abt the pot smoking and both denied all of it …the party chief was screaming and yelling and cussing about the whole thing and then the owner turned to me and asked me to stand up by telling them i told on the whole thing which i did …..the owner then asked them if they could pass a drug test and both of them said they go out on the weekends and get drunk and smoke pot on the weekends when there not at work and said they could not pass a drug test ….i was then asked if i could pass 1 and i said yes i could….the owner then said 1 of us was lying abt all of it and she turned to the party chief and said u cant work with him then turned to me and said u cant work with him and we do not need this kinda confrontation at work and coworkers have to get along…..she then turned back to me and said she had to go with the party chief on this bc hes been there longer and i was fired.

if anyone has any kinda good advice on this please let me post something ….i need all the help i can get on this
